Sports News

Tonya Malone

Twenty years ago Tonya Malone started her teaching career at Clarksburg School. After 13 years away, she returned to CHS this year to teach 8th – 12th grade English. Mrs. Malone is a Huntingdon High School and Bethel College graduate. She has a Bachelor’s degree in English with a minor in Secondary Education. Mrs. Malone is married to her high school sweetheart, Tommy, and they have two children, Justin and Shalane. A passion for learning led to Mrs. Malone’s career as an educator. She says, “I would gladly be a life-long student if I didn’t need to make a living. Teaching allows me to share that love of learning with others and, hopefully, instill that love in my students.”

Cody Ezell

Cody Ezell has been teaching for three years. He attended Bethel University from 2010-2014. Mr. Ezell has a wife named Hayley. The reason he became a teacher is he “wanted to make an impact on students like the impact that was left on me by my teachers.” Mr. Ezell wants to make a life-long impression on his students and, of course, pass on his knowledge of sports.

Clint Kee

Coach Kee, the high school math teacher, is in his fourth year in the classroom. He is a graduate of Union University where he earned a B.S.B.A. and a Master’s in Education.
